The projectiondesign F35 series is the world’s most versatile professional projector series. Featuring models with up to 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, a very comprehensive Ultra High Quality projection lens range, up to 7500 lumens and both active and passive 3D stereo options, there is hardly any application too demanding.
The F35 series is the premier choice for a variety of applications as diverse as scientific and seismic visualization, medical imaging, high resolution financial data display, video conferencing, collaboration suites, simulation and visitor attractions and more in a variety of industries from oil and gas to aerospace and automotive, healthcare, defense & security, and media and entertainment.
The F35 series features four basic models, each with unique features and user benefits. With 2560 x 1600 pixels, the F35 wqxga is the highest resolution professional series DLP® projector available. Its 4.1 Megapixels is essentially double that of standard WUXGA and 1080p models. It reduces system complexity and channel count in fixed resolution systems, or doubles the resolution in fixed channel count systems.
The WUXGA and 1080p resolution F35 AS3D models feature up to 120 Hz native refresh rate in mono or Active 3D stereo, without any sort of compression, making them the highest resolution single chip 3D projector models available. Where others use compression technologies limiting bandwidth to single link DVI, the F35 AS3D use DualLink DVI for full 330 MHz bandwidth imaging.
The F35 panorama addresses the benefit for ultra wide imaging in advanced meeting rooms and collaborative suits, where many users are sharing content and collaborate remotely or locally. With its exceptional 21 : 9 (2.37 : 1) panoramic image and 2560 x 1080 native resolution, it replaces a typical standard sxga+ configuration using two projectors blended into one picture. Our objection with the F35 panorama is to enable the users to effortless use cross-scale applications to outline their overview. In other words: more information simultaneously, in one crispy clear, high resolution image!
All F35 series projectors benefit from using projectiondesign’s proprietary and highly accurate RealColor colour management suite. With a proven accuracy that surpasses even then best and most widely accepted chroma measurement instruments, all F35 series are guaranteed to display colours the way they are supposed to be seen. Calibration is easy, and can be fully automated using projectiondesign’s ProNet.calibrator software. Simply measure the projectors’ native colours, tell it what you want, and it will adjust accordingly. Each projector also comes factory prepared with its individual abilities stored in memory.
Because we make the world’s highest resolution projectors, we also design and manufacture the world’s highest resolution projection lenses. All-glass designs using floating aspherical lens elements and ND glass secure sharpness and focus and, at the same time, ensure high ANSI system contrast, not just sequential contrast that is easy to display on sales literature. The difference is clear and can easily be demonstrated.
X-PORT module expandability enables users to configure exactly what is needed for a specific system design. With optional I/O such as 3G-SDI and HDMI 1.4a , and the versatile DCC120 Dual Channel Combiner image processor, enabling frame rate conversion, synchronized multi-channel 3D stereo systems such as CAVEs and domes, no task or application is too demaning.
All F35 series projectors feature flicker-free Smear Reduction Processing - SRP™. Unlike some of the competition using other technologies, F35 series do not have to use external filters or shutters - all processing is internal and user adjustable and configurable. This, combined with up to 120 Hz high frame rate ensures a smear-free image at any resolution and with any fast-moving content.
Although far from all projectors are used as extensively as continuous operation, we still design ours to manage it. Moving components such as fans and colour wheels are certified to run around the clock and, providing regular maintenance intervals are followed, we even warrant every model for up to five years of continuous operation. Even if you may not use yours as extensively, it is good to know it has been designed with longevity and reliability as a key criteria.
Complementing the continuous operation mode, lamps can be replaced whilst the projector is operating. Should lamps need replacement or one fail during a presentation, the projector will keep running as you maintain it.
Each F35 series uses our Magnesium electronics platform, which enables remote firmware upgrades over Ethernet (also locally from a USB memory stick), ensuring it is always up to date with the latest features and formats. It can also be managed as an asset using our ProNet.site software, as well as control any feature, operation mode or otherwise addressable feature over TCP/IP or RS-232.
