NEC Releases NC1100L Projector at CinemaCon 2014

NEC is a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions. Today, the company announced the release of their NC1100L projector. This device is designed for movie theaters and it is the first digital cinema projector from NEC to feature laser-based display technology. The projector is capable of displaying 2K HD (2048 x 1080) resolution and a 1750:1 contrast ratio. The projector is being demonstrated this week at CinemaCon 2014. “We’re excited that exhibitors will now be able to take advantage of the NC1100L’s many advantages, including reliability, no downtime, and almost 20,000 hours of lifetime(*), resulting in a lower total cost of ownership,” said Rich McPherson, Sr. Product Manager for Projectors at NEC Display Solutions. “This latest NEC breakthrough widens the opportunities for exhibitors with small screens and non-traditional venues to build lasting experiences with their audiences.”
