Aiptek Unveils Projector Pad P100

Aiptek is looking to combine tablets with pico projectors as they unveiled today their latest product the Projector Pad P100. This device was on display last week at IFA and is a 7 inch Android tablet with a detachable pico projector. The tablet features Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution IPS display, and 16GB storage. The projector attaches to the back of the tablet and can be removed for independent use. It provides 300 ANSI lumens, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 854 x 480 resolution. Unfortunately Aiptek has not released any additional information at this time. They are looking to release the projector later this month and have it retail for €399 ($529).
