BenQ W770ST Projector Review

One of the many short throw projectors this year from BenQ is the W770ST. This device features 2500 ANSI lumens, a HD (1280 x 720) resolution, and a 13000:1 contrast ratio. Today, the writers from Trusted Reviews released their experience of this particular device. The writers were interested in seeing how well the 3D features worked on this projector. They were happy to state that for the low price the projector performed nicely in both 2D and 3D mode. They did notice that the running noise got louder during 3D mode and that it could be distracting at times. They also noticed some rainbow effect as well, which is a normal problem with DLP projectors. This problem occurs when the colors on the screen begin to separate and create a rainbow. The final verdict the writers made about the W770ST was, “Not for the first time with a BenQ projector, we’re finding ourselves struggling to comprehend how the brand has managed to combine so many features and so much quality in a projector that costs so little. Basically, if the W770ST’s short-throw talents and budget price tag fit your needs, there’s very little not to like about it.”
