Epson EH-TW9100 Projector Review

The Epson EH-TW9100 is one of the company’s many home theater projectors. It comes with 2400 ANSI lumens, a 320000:1 contrast ratio, and HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Today, the writers from Expert Reviews released their review of this particular device. The writers note that this is one of the company’s top-end models and that means that it is suppose to be above the rest in terms of performance. The projector is fairly chunky, which could be a problem for some. The controls are simple and plentiful. The writers note that there wasn’t really any aspect of the image or machine that they couldn’t adjust. The writers didn’t list any major problems. They did find some color bleeding and some problems with the alignment problems. But ultimately they concluded by stating, “The EH-TW9100 is able to reproduce images of stunning quality in both 2D and 3D, has plenty of video inputs and is very easy to set up. Dig a little deeper, however, and there are some shortcomings, such as the oddly designed LCD alignment option and slight colour bleed, but for most people these issues are insignificant and don’t affect picture quality enough to impact enjoyment. If you want to avoid these issues altogether, the more expensive Sony VPL-HW50ES uses LCOS projection and produces equally gorgeous images, but there’s very little not to like here. It’s a fantastic home cinema projector that justifies its place at the top of Epson’s line-up.”

I had expected to see a lot more wireless features, and quiet features, but is seems that it not the case, I think they are missing the boat and focusing way to much on lumens and finite picture quality when so much relies on your screen quality. Dose anyone else agree with me ?
