BenQ Unveils MW821ST and MX822ST Projectors for Classroom iQ Solutions

A few weeks ago, BenQ unveiled their new Classroom iQ solutions. These were several products and software that are designed to add versatility to the educational field. Today, BenQ gave a few more details about some of the products that are included. Among them is a pair of new short throw projectors, the MW821ST and MX822ST. Both projectors feature the same 13000:1 contrast ratio and 3000 ANSI lumens. The major difference is that the MW821ST will come with a native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, while the MX822ST has only a XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The projectors will include HDMi ports for allowing Blu-ray players and PCs to deliver both HD and 3D content. The MW821ST is already available through certified retailers, but the MX822ST has yet to be released. Other products included in the Classroom iQ package are PointDraw software, QPresenters App, and updated touch technology. “BenQ is very excited to be providing the most advanced classroom technologies to teachers, students, and schools,” said Lars Yoder, President of BenQ America Corp. “Our Classroom iQ Solutions are specifically designed to satisfy the need for more interactive and immersive experiences by integrating the world of connected devices with solutions that are innovative, affordable, and easy to use. Schools can now create connected classrooms using future-proof technology that will both protect their investment and enrich the overall learning experience.”
