Epson PowerLite 1761W Projector Review

One of the many compact projectors to come from Epson recently is the PowerLite 1761W. This device comes with 2600 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. Today, the writers from Truly Net released their review. They first highlighted its portability. The 1761W weighs only 3.7 lbs and measures 11.5” x 1.7” x 8.3” (W x H x D). The projector also has incredibly flexibility when being setup. This is mainly due to the diverse connection panel and the keystone correction. The writers noted that the projector doesn’t have to be limited to business applications and they think that it would make an excellent home theater projector. The only thing the writers would have liked to see was a reduced retail price. The image quality was suburb and the writers didn’t find any major faults with it. The writers concluded by stating, “If the PowerLite 1761W’s wireless connectivity sounds appealing, or you need portability (or even the potential to bring your theater with you), then this is the best choice we’ve seen. If you don’t mind spending a bit more, or having a bulkier stationary model, you might be able to get another Epson with a bit more brightness that would better serve a dedicated travel or cinema option. The price surprised us- this felt like well over $1000 of projector.”
