Optoma Releases ML300 Projector

Optoma is pleased to announce the launch of their latest ultra-portable projector, the ML300. Not quite a pico projector, but definitely smaller than the typical portable projector. It comes with LED lamps that can display 300 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. Optoma has included a diverse connection panel that includes a mini HDMI, RGB, an AV jack, and a micro SD card slot. The LED lamps are capable of providing low energy consumption as well as a longer lifespan of 20000 hours. The company has also included a 1 GB internal memory and the ability to connect to tablets and smartphones. Head of Product Management Justin Halls commented. “The Optoma ML300 ultra-slim portable projector is the perfect partner for anyone who needs to create an impression on the move. In many situations the perceived brightness of an LED projector can be up to twice the brightness of an equivalent lamp-based projector. Combined with the extraordinary life of LEDs, the ML300 will be clear and bright for many years to come.” The ML300 is available now and retails for $500.
