Epson is the number-one selling projector brand worldwide. Today, the company announced the latest addition to their VS series, the VS200. This device is designed for boardrooms and classrooms with its 2300 ANSI lumens, 2000:1 contrast ratio, and SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. The high brightness allows the VS200 to be used in normally lit rooms so that viewers don’t have to take notes in the dark during a presentation. Epson has included some easy-to-use features like a USB Plug ‘n Play port, instant on/off, and it is also Windows and Mac compatible. The Epson VS200 offers easy-to-use features, including USB Plug ‘n Play instant setup for Windows and Mac that instantly displays images on both the projector and computer by simply connecting a USB cable. And leveraging the latest 3LCD, 3-chip technology, the Epson VS200 delivers amazing, true-to-life color and detail for powerful presentations. 3LCD technology provides an energy efficient light engine which creates stunning images, and in contrast to 1-chip DLP technology, 3LCD requires, on average, 25 percent less electricity per lumen of brightness3.
The Epson VS200 offers quick and convenient control features, including Instant On/Off® which enables presenters to avoid delays by instantly powering on and off the projector with no cool down time, and Direct Power On and Off allows an installed projector to be powered with a wall switch. In addition, the convenient A/V Mute Slide instantly turns off the sound and images to create a quick pause in the presentation, conserving lamp life and energy, and helping to save costs.
