Hewlett-Packard Releases Companion Projector

At the beginning of this year, Hewlett-Packard announced their first pico projector called the Companion. This projector was designed to be an accessory to their laptops as a quick and easy way to give presentations. Today, it was revealed that HP has finally released the Companion to the market. This device is capable of displaying SVGA (858 x 600) resolution, 100 ANSI lumens, and an 800:1 contrast ratio. Because the Companion is supposed to be an accessory, the projector only comes with a VGA connection. The projector is available for shipping and retails for just under $500.
