The Microsoft Surface is not the only big name interactive touch table anymore. Today a company called Atracsys Swims announced their new product called AtracTable. This table features smooth interactive features that were inspired by the Minority Report. The company has already sold the technology to Sony and is looking to commercialize the table sometime in June. The table measures 35” diagonally, which is larger than the Surface. It also uses an HD projector in order to create smooth, high quality images and two Sony ISS XCD-V60 cameras in order to track finger movements and gestures. The display was creates for a wider market than the Surface, especially in the medical field. The Atracsys allows surgeons to use the device with out contaminate themselves by touching a keyboard and mouse.
