Acer is proud to announce the release of two new projectors, the S5200 and P7290. Both models are part of Acer’s professional lineup and feature a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and DLP display technology. The S5200 also comes with 3000 ANSI lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, while the P7290 is a little bit more powerful with 5000 ANSI lumens and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The S5200 is designed mainly for smaller rooms and comes with a short throw lens that can display a 300” display from only 12.2 feet away. The P7290 is more than bright enough for a well lit room and even comes with an 8x digital zoom feature. Both projectors are available now through certified retailers, but the retail price has not been released.
