Boxlight ProjectoWrite2 Projector Review

ProjectoWrite2W_a1

The Boxlight ProjectoWrite2 is an innovative data projector. The device has a pair or light pens that allow the user to control the screen. The projector also features 3000 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Today the writers from Projector.com released their review of the ProjectoWrite2. The writers were very impressed with this projector. They commented on its simplicity and also about the light pens. The setup was very simple, however; the writers did notice that the quick setup guide was a little confusing. Fortunately though, the setup was easy enough and quick enough to prevent major problems. The connection panel has several helpful connections, but the writers did notice that it didn’t come with an HDMI port, but instead came with a DVI port. This simply means that anyone who wants to connect with a HDMI cable will need to purchase an adapter. Other concerns that the writers mentioned included a lack of paper manuals and the inability to display true widescreen. However even with these problems, the writers’ verdict was, “Boxlight has nailed this one. The ProjectoWrite2 is a highly polished, tremendously well executed projector and whiteboard combination that is more than the sum of its parts. The Projectowrite2 is easy to set up, has more than enough light for most applications, and have no doubt, is an incredibly flexible instructional / educational tool. It’s also a ridiculous amount of fun to use.”
