There are two major events happening this weekend. The first is the release of highly anticipated move “Avatar.” The second is the release of the new LG eXpo smartphone, which is the first big name phone to feature a pico projector. LG, Twentieth Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment have created a partnership to promote both the movie and the phone together. One of the main advertisements in the campaign is the video featured above. The video makes fun of all those unboxing videos you see and highlights some of the features that the phone has. The biggest feature however, is the optional pico projector that attaches to the bottom of the phone. Even with the release, LG is not announcing any specifications about the projector except that it can display up to a 40 inch display and it will display anything and everything that you see on the 3.2 inch touch screen. However some reports have been made claiming that the phone is being released with out the projector at this time. But at the beginning of the month, LG announced that the projector was going to be released a few weeks after the official release.
