Christie Displays Matric StIM Projector at A Tour De Force

Christie is proud to announce yesterday that they will showcase a tour de force in DLP and LED powered technologies. The projector that they will be displaying is their Matrix StIM projector, which features 600 ANSI lumens, WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, and a 100000:1 contrast ratio. This model is the first from the company to feature an LED lamp system. In addition to being an LED projector, it is also the world’s first LED projector to be used for simulation purposes. The LED light allows for a more eco friendly projector however, the major downside is that the LED produces less brightness. “Unlike other solutions offered, Christie’s WQXGA platform will maximize the total package, not just the resolution but also higher brightness. It’s about how well the DLP and LED technologies fit together – Christie’s deep understanding of customer needs, our credibility in the market and our integration experience will provide the maximum benefits for customers in the simulation market,” says Zoran Veselic, vice president, Visual Environment at Christie.
