It looks like Nikon is starting to lower their prices for the holiday season. Recently, the company announced that they are cutting the price of their new CoolPix S1000pj camera projector from $429 to $371. This device is the world’s first combination digital camera and pico projector. The camera features a 12.1 megapixel sensor, 5.1 digital zoom and a 5x wide angle zoom. The projector features 10 ANSI lumens, a VGA (640 x 480) resolution and can display images up to 40” inches, diagonally. If it wasn’t for the projector, this device would by another typical point and click camera. Fortunately though, the projector allows the user to instantly display images and video onto any surface instead of having everyone crowd around a small screen.
