ViewSonic was one of the first companies to create a 3D projector. Today the company announced that one of them will released into the UK, the PJD6381. This projector features XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens, and a 2400:1 contrast ratio. This projector is not only capable of displaying 3D content, but it is also compatible with the NVIDIA GeForce 3D system, which uses a special set of glasses and software to turn virtually any content into a 3D experience. The connection panel for the PJD6381 is limited but still necessary, including dual RGB ports, a composite, and an s-video port. There is also a RJ-45 LAN port for network connectivity. Unfortunately ViewSonic has not yet released the retail price of the projector for the UK, but in the USA, the PJD6381 retails for $1249.
