Seiko Releases the Ocean Theater

YouTube Preview Image

Do you like falling asleep to the sights and sounds of the ocean? Well today, the developers from Seiko would like you to look at their new alarm click, the Ocean Theater. This device looks like something from the 1970 and uses a small projector to display ocean scenes on the wall. You also have the option of putting on the blue dome over the projector lens in order to have a globe that displays the same scenes. While this device might be impressive in Japan, the graphics of the ocean scenes are similar to the old 8 bit video games. The only quality aspect about the Ocean Theater is that you can connect your MP3 player or iPhone to it in order to play your music to the ocean scenes. The device is also touch sensitive so you don’t have to worry about hitting a specific button to turn it off. The Ocean Theater is currently retailing for $235.
