Yesterday, you may have read about the NTT Docomo F-04B phone that could split into two separate pieces. It turns out that this device is actually owned by Fujitsu. The F-04B (AKA Keitai) phone splits into two parts; the display unit and the keyboard unit. The display unit can be used to watch movies, listen to music, TV, or even send mail. The keyboard unit features a complete number pad and QWERTY keyboard. It can also be used as a microphone, speaker device, or a game pad. The two sections can also be connected together to form a slide phone. The more amazing and eye catching feature is the inclusion of an optional pico projector. This device can attach easily to the bottom of the phone and can display 6 ANSI lumens, WVGA (854 x 480) resolution, and LCoS display technology. Each section as well as the projector comes with their own lithium-ion battery and the projector can run for 2.5 hours, which is excellent for most major movies. Fujitsu has not released a date or price for the F-04B yet.
