Sparkz iPhone/iPod Dock Projector

YouTube Preview Image

Their have been many different projectors that are compatible with mobile devices. Today, a new company called Sparkz has released their first pico projector, the iPhone/iPod dock. This device is about the size of a mini football and can display an image up to 60-inches, diagonally. The only connections include an A/V jack and a VGA port. The company claims that this projector can connect with game consoles, digital cameras, and DVD players, but with only VGA (640 x 480) resolution and 15 ANSI lumens the image wouldn’t be as good as a decent HDTV. The projector comes with a built-in iPhone/iPod docking station and is suppose to be compatible with all forms of Apple products like the iPhone, iPod, and the iPod Video. Sparkz has also included a tiny tripod for easy screen adjustment. The only concern is the relatively high retail price of $495. The iPhone/iPod dock projector is currently available through the company’s website.

Any idea what a 60inch display looks like? i doubt that at such low resolutions the picture quality is going to be up to anything much however as a concept its brilliant.
