3M Reduces Prices of Pico Projectors

3M is one of the first companies that released pico projectors into the consumer market. Today, the company announced that they are currently lowering the retail prices for both of their pico projectors, the MPro110 and MPro120. The MPro110 was the company’s first pico projector and can display 7 ANSI lumens, VGA (640 x 480) resolution, and an 80:1 contrast ratio. The MPro120 was only released a few months ago and it can display 12 ANSI lumens, a 200:1 contrast ratio, and VGA (640 x 480) resolution. When they were released, both projectors retailed for $349. Now, the MPro110 is priced at $171, while the MPro120 retails for $309. Unfortunately 3M has not released an official statement yet about the price drop, but it is probably due to the fact that many other companies are releasing similar quality projectors for a much lower price, compared to their original price.
