InFocus is the industry pioneer in digital projection technology. Today, they announced that they will be ending their seven year partnership with CSR who is their European distributor. The position will be filled with Midwich, the leading trade-only distributor of AV, IT and consumer electronics technology products. Midwich will also take responsibility of the upcoming ScreenPlay SP8602 projector that is being released at about the same time. This projector features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens, and an impressive 30000:1 contrast ratio. Darren Lewitt, AV director at Midwich, said, “InFocus is a very important and strategic brand for Midwich. As well as our commercial focus, we have a dedicated division that concentrates on the custom installation and consumer channel. As a member of CEDIA, the addition of the ScreenPlay range will strengthen our proposition in the custom install and independent retail markets.”
