Owning a projector can be costly and a lot of work fortunately there are many things that an owner can do to help get the most from their projector. Recently, a list was created of ways to take care of your projector with out costing you lots of money. One of the tips includes mounting the projector in a dust free environment. This will help not only increase the life of the projector, but it will also reduce the maintenance time on the projector. Another tip is to take care of your screen as well. A lot of dust, or even ambient light could eventually damage the screen and ultimately deteriorate the quality of your theater. They also talk about the projector’s lamp and suggest that try to keep the projector stationary because jostling it around and moving it a lot could possibly damage the lamp and cause it to blow out early or cause problems to the rest of the projector. One of the last suggestions includes putting your projector into its own container like a glass container. By doing this you further protect your projector from debris and other items that might damage the projector. The only concern if you choose to shelter your projector is to make sure that there is sufficient air inside to keep the projector from overheating.
