Seeper Introduces Interactive Multi-Touch Sphere

http://www.vimeo.com/4996865

Last year you may have heard about the Microsoft Sphere concept, which turned a flat multi-touch display into a globe. Today, the developers from a London-based group called Seeper announced their latest design for a multi-touch sphere. The Interactive MultiTouch Sphere is a lot bigger than Microsoft’s version but it still uses a projector mounted inside the ball. The developers have created interesting programs so far to give the images depth, especially the fireworks program displayed on the video. What is interesting with this design is that it has a soft surface. There is no information is that is just part of the design or if there is another intention like pressure sensors. For now the project is just a concept design with no information about if it will be released.
