Epson has announced the launch of their newest DVD projector combo, the EH-DM30. This model is only being released as part of the Dreamio series in Japan right now, but it is one of the best combo projectors the company has to offer. The DM30 features 2500 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Older Epson projectors that came with DVD players usually couldn’t display more than 1200 ANSI lumens, or a WVGA (854 x 480) resolution. The DM30 not only allows users to display DVDs, but the projector can also support DivX movies as well as a vast variety of file formats. The projector also comes with a diverse connection panel, including RGB, composite, component, s-video, HDMI, and even a USB port for instant uploading of pictures or video from a flash drive.
