Just Add Power has recently announced the release of one of their more powerful devices, the Projector Connector. This device consists is capable of managing multiple HDMI sources without using a traditional switch. The encoder unit converts the HDMI signal, up to 1080p, to an IP packet. The networked receiver then decodes the signal at the display end and passes the signal to the projector, monitor, or any other display that is connected. If you have a lot of displays that need this system all you need to do is add a switch and then you can control up to 200 displays simultaneously. The Projector Connector is designed more for computer labs or other areas that use a lot of displays, which means it’s not really intended for your home theater. Just Add Power is selling the encoder and the decoder separate for $299 and $250, respectively.
