If you were at the CEDIA Expo this past weekend you may have seen the new Projectiondesign kroma projector. This model features 600 ANSI lumens, a 7500:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. This projector is also the first projector to be released from the company with LED lamp technology. The LEDs in the kroma are estimated to last up to 100000 hours, which are the longest lasting LEDs ever integrated into a projector. The kroma also features a wide variety of connections, including HDMI, DVI, component, composite, s-video, and RGB. There is also a USB connection for instant access to a computer as well as RJ-45 LAN for internet control. The only concern about the kroma is that it because it is designed for high-end home theaters it is fairly expensive, retailing for $35000.
