Mitsubishi Announces HC3800 Projector at CEDIA 09

Mitsubsihsi is known for their award-winning, high-quality, and high-definition presentation and display products. Today, the company has revealed their latest home theater projector, the HC3800. This model makes an excellent entry-level projector and features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens, and a 4000:1 contrast ratio. The HC3800 has been fitted with Texas Instruments’ DDP3021 Digital Light Processing TrueVision Image processor DLP chip, which can deliver truly high detail and amazing color depth. Mitsubishi has also designed this projector so that it has a low cost of ownership as well as less maintenance time. The lamp comes with a life span of an estimated 5000 hours and the projector has a filter free design with an advanced semi-sealed construction. The HC3800 is not expected to be released until sometime in the Third Quarter of 2009 and it will retail for $1395.
