Barco is a global leader in digital cinema technology. Today, the company announced the one year contract agreement with Ballantyne Strong Inc. The contract will give Barco access to Ballantyne’s service organization and cinema projection service and support. Ballantyne’s Strong Technical Servies (STS) subsidiary was established in 2006 to serve the market’s growing digital cinema service demands. The company’s technicians will not only provide support to new Barco customers, but also all current Barco users through out the US. “Given Barco’s leadership in the digital cinema industry, we are very excited to partner as their primary digital cinema service provider in the U.S. and deliver the broad array of specialized services required for the ongoing rollout of digital projection equipment.,” said John P.
