We have heard about pico projectors in cell phones, but recently Nikon has announced that they will be releasing a “groundbreaking” announcement next week. Thanks to someone from the French print photo magazine Chausseur D’Image, the rumor is that the announcement involves a pico projector integrated into a digital camera. The tip states that the device is called the VP650 and will feature a LED lamp system. The only concern about this projector is that will only be able to project images onto a screen that is only 8×12 inches. If the rumor is correct the camera projector will be announced soon and is expected to be released sometime in September. More information about this development will be released as it becomes available.
