Child Proof Home Theater

One of the worst things that can happen to a newly built home theater is rambunctious kids. With so many delicate components involved it’s difficult to keep it from being damaged or broken by children. The home owners of this theater tried to figure out ways to keep their two sons from destroying their home theater. They consulted with experts from DistinctAV and came up with solutions to all their problems. To protect the screen, the designers used a motorized screen that only opens and closes while the projector is in use. The Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 1080 UB projector, which features 1600 ANSI lumens, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and a 50000:1 contrast ratio, was tucked behind a bend in the back wall that keeps it safe from flying projectiles. The speakers were integrated into the walls and the AV components were hidden in a safe closet. To make matters better. The entire theater was controlled by a touch screen remote control that was programmed with both a kids menu and an adults menu. This allowed the kids to access their game system or movies simply and easily. The family received three of these remote and allows the parents to monitor what their children are doing. They also can hit the kill switch, which shuts down the entire home theater. The feature allows the parents to shut off the theater when the kids leave it on, or they could turn off the theater when it’s time for dinner, school or anything else.
