Italy Inspired Home Theater

italiantheater_a1

The home owners of this theater initially wanted something simple that they could use as an entertainment room. They wanted to spend as little as possible on the décor so that they could focus on the theater’s electronics. However, the wife of the household became so entranced at looking at other home theaters that those plans quickly changed. The wife would take frequent trips to Italy and decided to use the architecture of the buildings she had seen to decorate her own theater. The owners hired contractors from Future Homes to help with the setup. Every so often, the lady of the house would bring something home that she wanted to add to the theater. Usually frequent changes like this would require room remodeling and component moving, but because the walls for the room was already built, the owners made sure that anything they brought into the project could be easily added with no problems. The finished product looks like it came straight from Italy and resembles an old opera house. There are two rows of seating as well as a 12.5 foot wide screen from Stewart Filmscreen and a Runco VX-22d projector. The Runco projector features 1391 ANSI lumens, a 321:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.
