A pico projector inside cell phones is not a new concept, but that concept might become a reality as early as this year. In a recent press release, Foxlink, a subsidiary of Foxconn, has announced that they are developing micro projectors that will be integrated into devices by the end of 2009. Some of the companies that have already lined up to receive these projector units include Nokia, Samsung, and Apple. Samsung has already announced their Show (aka W7900) projector cell phone earlier this year. Rumors have also been spreading that Apple intends to integrate the projectors into their next generation of iPhones and iPod Touches.
