Sim2 C3X LUMIS HOST Projector Review

C3XLH_a2

The Sim2 C3X LUMIS HOST is the company’s latest home theater projector. This model features 3000 ANSI lumens, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and a 35000:1 contrast ratio. Recently, a writer from Electronic Homes released their review of this amazing projector. The projector uses 3-chip DLP display technology and can display some of the finest blacks the writer has ever seen. The colors were very rich and vibrant, but also very natural and realistic. The projector displayed each test video perfectly with out needing to readjust for each scenario. The only concern the writer had about this projector is the expensive price tag. The C3X retails between $40000 and $42000, which means this projector, is only intended for those who are very serious with home theater display. The writer concluded by stating, “For the home theater aficionado, the SIM2 Grand Cinema C3X Lumis HOST is just the ticket for years of viewing splendor. If it is properly installed and calibrated, you won’t be going to the multiplex any time soon.”

My Sim2 HT305 has been a nightmare. While it failed almost immediately, the Florida service center ($175 shipping costs) could not identify the problem. They simply sent it back and it continued to fail until it didn’t function at all. Sim2 then replaced the bulb unit (charging $525) and claiming 1,500 hours were on the very seldom functioning unit. The unit doesn’t work and I am now suing Sim2 under the California lemon law.

    Do not buy Sim2 products.
