Epson is a global imaging and innovation leader that is dedicated to exceeding the vision of customers worldwide through its compact, energy-saving, high-precision technologies. Recently, the company was proud to announce that they have started volume production of the world’s smallest XGA HTPS-TFT Liquid Crystal Panel. This miniature LCD panel is design solely for 3LCD data projectors. The L3P05X-91G00 chip is 23% smaller than its predecessor and uses a 0.55 inch (1.4 cm) display panel. The panel displays a natural XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and is intended for projectors that can display up to 2600 ANSI lumens. Epson has also announced that they will continue to push forward and work towards increasing the resolution for these display panels.
