Epson’s European branch recently announced that two new projectors will be released between now and January of 2010. The EB-Z8000WU and EB-Z8050W are both designed for business and classroom applications and features the latest in 3LCD display technology. The Z8000WU features 6000 ANSI lumens and a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, while the Z8050W features 7000 ANSI lumens and a WXGA (1280 x 800). Both model come with Epson’s wireless networking software and doesn’t require any external wires to connect to the building’s network. The projectors are designed for portability and most importantly, flexibility, which is why Epson has designed several optional lenses that got with both projectors. The lenses range from short to long throw distances and allow the user to mount the projector where they want. Unfortunately, retail prices have not been released yet, but the Z8000WU is expected to be released in September, while the Z8050W will release in January.
