Casio is pleased to announce their newest projector, the XJ-S43W. Featuring the same super slim design as other Casio projectors, this model features 2500 ANSI lumens, a 1800:1 contrast ratio, and it is the first to features WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. Having a projector that has a natural WXGA resolution is quickly becoming the popular choice for businesses because of its popularity in modern laptops. By having both a laptop and a projector with this native resolution, users can display their PowerPoint slides from their computer with out having to reformat them to fit a conflicting aspect ratio or resolution of the projector. Another first for this model is the inclusion of an HDMI port in order to provide direct digital connectivity with many notebooks that uses HDMI outputs as well as compatibility with HD video formats. The XJ-S43W will not be available until September and will retail for just under $1000.
