Epson Announces PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL Projector
Epson is proud to announce their brightest projector to date, The PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL projector. This model is designed for large venues and features 6000 ANSI lumens, WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution and an impressive 5000:1 contrast ratio. “The PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL is the latest projector to join our long and ever-expanding line of industry-firsts from Epson,” said Edgar Jimenez, associate product manager, business projectors, Epson America. “Just as impressive, this projector is an extremely versatile and affordable WUXGA solution for auditorium venues that doesn’t compromise on image quality – especially brightness and color performance.” Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of additional information available at this time. But some of the highlighted features include a 10000 hour air filter, LAN connectivity, and a closed captioning decoder. The Z8000WUNL will not be released until September, but it will be on display this week at InfoComm.

Designed for large venue applications in education, corporations and houses of worship, the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL offers 5000:1 contrast ratio, an innovative liquid cooling system, durable optical panels, and a dual-lamp design that further enhance its outstanding image quality, performance and reliability. The projector also comes equipped with several unique features and benefits that are designed to make maintenance easier and less frequent, including easy access to lamps and filters, as well as a recommended 10,000-hour filter cleaning schedule.3 In addition, the new model features Epson’s high-aperture 3-chip 3LCD technology for more intense and sharper images.
The PowerLite Pro Z8000UNL offers a revolutionary design with flexible installation features and customized lens options that contribute to an exceptional level of performance that installers have not seen from a 3LCD large venue solution to date. The projector includes a centered lens design for easy installation, and can be installed +/- 30-degrees off-axis horizontally and +/- 10-degrees off-axis vertically. Installers can choose from six optional lenses, including a rear-projection option, to customize a solution to fit even the most challenging mid to large venue installation.
