NEC Releases NP3250, NP3250W, NP2250, and NP1250 Projectors

NEC is proud to announce four new projectors will be joining their NP Installation series. Designed for business and small venues, these models come with a wide array of features from vertical and horizontal shift to wireless network capabilities. “The addition of these NP Installation Series projectors continues NEC’s long-standing tradition of providing products that meet a customer’s needs by offering a large assortment of innovative features that greatly enhance and positively benefit demanding applications,” said Keith Yanke, Director of Product Marketing at NEC Display Solutions. All of these models are on display this week at InfoComm, booth # 5001.
First is the NP3250 projector. This model features 4000 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. This model is the brightest of the four and can display in virtually any room environment. This model comes with several connection options, including RGB, 5BNC, DVI, composite, s-video, component, and several audio ports. In addition to being the brightest, this projector is also the most costly of the four, retailing for just under $4000.
Next is the wide screen NP3250W that features a lesser 4000 ANSI lumens, but also displays a 500:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The bigger resolution allows the projector to show 720p HD (1280 x 720) resolution content in its natural form and it prevents presenters from altering their slide shows from their laptops. The NP3250W also retails for just under $4000.
Another model is the NP2250, which features 4200 ANSI lumens, a 600:1 contrast ratio, and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. This model features the same connections as the previous models, and also has wireless and wired network connections. This allows the projector to be mounted anywhere in the room with out the worry of needing the correct length of cord. To help the projector’s versatility, NEC also made this model compatible with Macintosh computers. The NP2250 is priced at $3499
The last projector is the NP1250, which displays the same XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and 600:1 contrast ratio as the NP2250, but also features only 3700 ANSI lumens. While the projector’s chassis is the same size as the others, this model is definitely the baby of the group. The chassis offers a unique stacking ability that allows a user to mount up to four of the same or of similar NEC models on top of each other. The NP1250 retails for just under $3000.
