Casio Introduces Four New Super Thin Projectors in Japan

XJ-S68-a1

Casio has recently announced the coming soon release of four new projectors that will only be available in Japan right now. All of these new models fit into the same super slim design that all Casio models use, which stands only 1.7 inches high. These projectors are thin enough to fit into almost any laptop bag or a travel bag. They all feature the same XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and 1800:1 contrast ratio. They also will be released in July.

First is the XJ-S68 projector, which features 3500 ANSI lumens. This is by far the brightest and best of the bunch. It comes with a composite and a RGB connection as well as a USB port for “PC-free” presentations.

Next is the XJ-S63 projector. This model features the same brightness as the S68. The only difference between the two is that the S63 doesn’t have the USB port. However it does come with a 1 watt speaker system to play background music during your presentation.

Continuing down the ladder is the XJ-S58 model. This projector features only 3000 ANSI lumens, but that is still bright enough for dimly lit rooms. This model comes with the USB port, like the S68, and can display images up to 300 inches, measured diagonally.

Last but not least is the XJ-S39. This projector is the baby of the group with 2500 ANSI lumens. It also has the USB port as well as an ultra short throw distance that can display a 300 inch display from less than 18 feet away.
