Nokia Pulse Projector Turns Cell Phone Into Remote Control
Yanko Designs is known for releasing some amazing concept designs. Their latest comes from designer Miika Mahonen who has created the Nokia Pulse Projector. This little device is about the size of a salt shaker and features a swivel head that allows the user to move the display. The projector is an LED system that would use DLP display technology, but it is also capable of displaying an impressive 1000 ANSI lumens, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 768) resolution. The base portion of the module features two web cameras (one on each side) as well as a NXT-speaker with Dolby sound processing. The main feature about this device is that there are no input connections of any kind. To charge it, the Pulse would rest on a wireless charging station. Video content would be uploaded by using your Nokia cell phone via a WiFi connection, which also turns your cell phone into the Pulse’s remote control. There is no word yet if the Nokia Pulse will be developed.

Online version of sun newspaper, here in the UK is reporting that Nokia has announced a new projector phone. This phone will be based on the Nokia new Multimedia centered N97.
If the news is to be believed, this would mean a giant leap forward for Nokia and with out a doubt Nokia claim the first place and dominate the mobile computer arena for many years to come.
