Christie Releases Entero LED Rear Projection Systems

This week Christie is displaying many of their new projection systems at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. One of the new product lines is the Entero LED which is being called the world’s first LED based rear projection display systems. The Entero line is designed for control room displays and video wall applications and features DLP display technology, 600 ANSI lumens, and a 1700:1 contrast ratio. The two models that are currently in the Entero series are the RPMWU-LED01 and the RPMSP-LED01. The RPMWU features WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, while the RPMSP features SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution. By using new LED technology, the Entero line has a life span of more than 50000 hours, which estimates to over five years of dependable 24/7 performance. This extra long lifespan sets the standard for other rear projection systems and provides a long lasting, eco-friendly alternative. “The new Christie Entero line of LED-based rear projection modules has no equal in the industry for long life and dependability. They are as close to ‘worry free’ as you can get in a videowall display solution,” remarked Jim Gavloski, director of product management at Christie. “It marks a major new development in reliable, high-performance videowall solutions that are easier to maintain and more economical to operate.” These two projectors are on display at Christie’s display at booth SL7912.
