Mutsugoto Helps Long Distance Relationships

Here is an interesting design for those with long distance relationships. The Mutsugoto has been in development for two years and allows couples the ability to hold each other at night when they are in different beds. The system requires each bed to have a projector and an IR camera mounted in above the ceiling. By using a special ring that glows red when activated, one person can caress the sheets next to them just as if that person is next to them. The movement of the ring is tracked and the information is relayed to the other person’s bed where it is projected as a glowing light path. The displayed image also shows twinkling lights to show the recipient where the other person’s ring is. Both beds have this control and can display their movements on each other’s bed. When the two light paths intersect the beds give a little light show and change colors. The developers of the Mutsugoto are currently testing this product on three long distance relationships in Scotland. There is no word when this project will be released. Click the link for video.
