3M really set the standard when they came out with their MPro110 projector. Recently, a brand new company called Ever Win has announced the release of their pocket projector, the EWP1000. This model features VGA (640 x 480) resolution, 10 ANSI lumens and uses a 3M optical engine, which is the same LCoS display technology used in the MPro110. Weighing only 0.2 lbs and measuring only an inch high, this projector fits easily into any pocket just like a cell phone, and could be lost just as easily. The EWP1000 comes with an AV jack and a VGA port for quick and easy connection with PCs or laptops. It can also support a DVI connection with an adapter. To add to the portability, Ever Win has integrated an extra long battery that can run for about 80 minutes before needing charged. The main feature that makes this pico projector stand out is the design that makes it look like a miniature version of a high quality home theater projector. Ever Win has not announced a retail price or a release date yet.
