Digital Projection is an Emmy Award winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems. Recently, they announced the development of their new advanced warp and blending system, the Mercator III. This device is a modular, rack mounted solution that can support up to 16 projectors simultaneously. The system will allow the projectors to display seamless images onto any screen no matter the shape, including curved, circular, domed, or any other geometric shape. The blending capabilities include gamma fine-tuning and black level offset in non-blend areas. The Mercator III can support any resolution up to HD (1920 x 1080). Digital Projection plans to demonstrate the Mercator III at trade shows throughout the year, although the actual release date and price has not been announced.
