The ViewSonic PJ358 has been out for a while now, but is still an impressive projector. This model features 2000 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Recently, the writers from Tech Radar got the opportunity to release their review of this projector. The design of this projector is both practical and convenient. Nothing sticks out of the projector, which allows it to fit easily into a carry case or a suit case. The writers noticed that while the brightness level is not the best, it is still suitable to use in most rooms with out having to adjust the lighting. The projector is designed primarily for business applications and shows it with the inclusion of two VGA ports. The projector also comes with a composite and an s-video for possible movies, but the writers don’t recommend using this model for movie watching at home. Even though the PJ358 has been around, the writers concluded by saying, “The Viewsonic PJ358 is a good all-round machine for the price and while there are signs that it’s starting to show its age – its 4:3 aspect ratio for example – it proved a reliable and likeable machine.”
