Things to Know About Pocket Projectors

Are you thinking about buying a pocket projector? Well according to Stuff.tv there are a few things that you need to know before you rush off and buy one. Pico projectors come in all shapes and sizes from the really small Optoma Pico projector to the much bigger in comparison, Dell MS109S.
First thing to remember is that they all very small. Most of them can fit into your coat pocket or even in your pants pocket. The only downside to having the tiny projectors is that sometimes their accessories could be bigger and more cumbersome than the projectors themselves.
Another thing to consider is that not all of these projectors require a external source. Most of the projectors on the market have either an internal memory or a SD card slot that can store video, photos, or presentations. It is highly recommended to find a pocket projector with memory because it eliminates the need for extra cables or even a laptop at your presentation.
One of the more important things to remember is that pocket projector is not yet ready to display quality pictures for long lengths of time. If you use the projectors’ internal battery you will only have between 30 and 120 minutes of use between charges, depending on which projector you have. While that is good for a presentation or a 30 minute TV show, it is not yet ready for full length movies.
Also consider that most pico projectors are not very bright, and require almost complete darkness to display a quality image. This could be a problem especially if you are giving a presentation that requires listeners to write down things or make notes. The reason for the low brightness are the introduction of LED technology, but there is a lot of hope that pocket projectors will be able to display bright crisp images in a few years.
