Mitsubishi Releases WD3300U and XD3200U Projectors

Mitsubishi announced today the release of two brand new projectors, the WD3300U and XD3200U. Both projectors are designed for areas that need a big display like lecture halls, boardrooms, large classrooms, church sanctuaries, and many other presentation rooms. Both models feature the same design, but come with very different specifications. The WD3300U features 4000 ANSI lumens, a 2300:1 contrast ratio, and a wide screen WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The XD3200U comes with a greater 4500 ANSI lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, but also comes with a smaller XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. Both projectors use DLP display technology and can create images up to 300 inches, diagonally. They also have been fitted with new technology to help keep the projectors running for a long time. One feature includes an almost completely sealed color wheel. This helps prevent dust and debris from damaging the color wheel. These projectors are also fitted with a new lamp drive system which was designed to reduce the overall deterioration rate of the lamp. This means that the lamps will be able to deliver consistent brightness even during the end of its 4000 hour lamp life when normal lamps start to loose their brightness. Both the WD3300U and the XD3200U are currently available through certified Mitsubishi dealers.
