Hitachi Releases CP-A52 Projector

Hitachi is proud to announce the release of their latest addition to their collection of ultra short throw projectors, the CP-A52. This model looks similar to the CP-A100 model, but features a brighter 2000 ANSI lumens and a stronger 1000:1 contrast ratio, as well as a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The A52 uses a mirror panel that rises from the top of the machine that reflects and magnifies the displayed image. This mirror system is what allows the projector to display up to a 200 inch display from a little more than 4 feet away from the screen. The A52 is primarily designed for classrooms, but can be ideal for anybody that needs to be in front of the screen during their presentation. The ultra short throw distance prevents the bright lamp from being in the presenter’s eyes, which can be distraction and potentially dangerous. In addition, the short throw distance virtually eliminates any distracting shadows that would be created by the presenter. The A52 also comes with a wide variety of connections including, two RGB ports, a composite, s-video, component, and several audio ports. There is no word yet about the retail price.
