Optoma is proud to announce the release of their newest home theater projector, the HD82. This model stands above the rest as it displays full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens, and a 20000:1 contrast ratio. The main feature of this projector is the PureEngine technology which comprises of three separate features, PureMotion, PureColor, and PureDetail, which dramatically improve the reproduction of motion, color and image detail respectively. The HD82 is very versatile with placement as well with many screen adjustment options available like vertical and horizontal lens shifts, a 1.5x zoom, and a vertical keystone correction. In addition, the HD82 comes with dual HDMI ports as well as a component, DVI, VGA, composite, and an s-video connection. The projector also comes with two 12V trigger ports that can be connected to other devices in your home theater like the motorized screen. Optoma is so happy with this projector they were quoted to say, “We guarantee that the vibrant colors will be just as incredible after five years as they are out of the box.” Unfortunately, the HD82 is only released in Europe right now and retails for Â£2999 (about $4400).
